Plant Engineer

$30 – $35 per hour

TLDR

Maintains smooth fabrication and processing on the shop floor, resolving technical issues and coordinating materials to keep operations on pace.

The Plant Engineer is responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient fabrication and processing while being on the floor to support the team. This person ensures work follows the job plan and schedule while addressing technical issues, coordinating materials, and maintaining quality and maintenance requirements. Through collaboration with production teams, the Plant Engineer keeps operations on pace and prevents disruptions to fabrication. 


Responsibilities: 


  • Maintain continuous workflow by keeping fabrication and processing moving at the projected pace 
  • Provide support with any technical issues, including but not limited to resolving issues with drawings, machinery, layout, fabrication processes, and material handling 
  • Ensure that all QA/QC requirements are satisfied 
  • Coordinate materials to be properly aligned with job plans 


Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing experience, preferred  
  • Must have experience in MS Excel, and MS Word  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills  
  • Strong organizational skills required 


Salary 


  • $30-35/hour 
  • Dependent upon experience
