Plug-In Mentoring for Girls
We're reinforcing our commitment to nurturing future talent and our positively inclusive culture by launching the second edition of the Plug-In Mentoring for Girls scheme. This programme is designed to support female students who are keen to pursue a university degree in STEM fields, offering them an unrivalled development opportunity with a FARFETCH expert.This year, we're expanding the programme globally, giving young women from all around the world the chance to connect with mentors from one of our many locations.
What does the programme involve?
- A one-year mentorship programme where inspiring female Farfetchers will provide guidance and support in planning your professional goals through regular meetings. FARFETCH mentors will support you throughout the first year of your degree, sharing their personal experiences and introducing you to a global organisation that is revolutionising an entire industry.
We are looking for:
- Individuals who self-identify as women and are currently completing their last year of high school
- Students who are applying to university in 2021 to study a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related technical field
- People who thrive when working with others, who actively seek ways to maximise their own potential and who enjoy problem-solving and creative thinking
How to apply:
- Complete the application form by selecting "apply" below
- Submit a video (1-minute maximum) telling us why you would like to enrol in this programme. The video should be in English and must include details of your education, extracurricular activities, achievements, future goals and ambitions. Please upload it on YouTube and share the link in the application - can be a private video.
- Applications close on May 3rd at 18:00 GMT.
We are committed to nurturing our consciously inclusive culture, therefore we have designed a mentorship programme for young girls who are finishing high school and looking to pursue a university degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
