PMO - Program Manager

Zeta intends to replace many legacy systems in use by banks for processing payments. Banks need to leapfrog into an era of connected devices and omnipresent commerce. Banking should become an integral part of the commerce and enterprise systems, thereby enabling seamless consumer and business transactions. The average number of interactions an account holder may have with a bank would increase to 12-15 per day in the near-term from the current average of 3-4 transactions per month. These could grow to an unimaginably large number in the future. Most banking systems aren’t designed for this scale. In many ways, these systems are limiting the imagination of the key stakeholders at the banks. We want this changed fundamentally, in an interoperable and regulatorily compliant manner.
We build large-scale transaction processing systems that can work with many current and future payment networks. We build applications that help banks realize the value of this new approach early. We also help banks to rapidly deliver the value of these applications to their customers.Zeta’s platform accelerates the phenomenon of digital native neobanking, unbundling and rebundling of banking and invisible payments. The platform enables the new-age financial institutes to have faster go-to-market. Enables the existing financial institutes with the much-required capabilities to partner with the FinTechs and to offer a suite of modern banking experiences. 

What is the job like?

Work in the CTO Office and help build the Program Management Function, which aligns strategy with execution, and improves predictability and visibility of cross-functional dependencies across the organization
Build partnerships with Business Units, analyze current state of program management practices, identify process areas that need improvement & standardization, leverage best practices and quickly deploy standard process and tools Collaborate with Business teams, product & engineering teams to understand their requirements and priorities and align PMO programs and mandate accordingly
Strengthen the Program Management framework for non-technical and technical program management professionals across the organization. Be an active leader and contributor in the program management chapter. Help drive compliance to standard program management framework across the organization. This involves Plan creation, management and control using a standard Tool (e.g. MS Project/PowerBI), setting up plans, process flows, tracking actual progress, and reporting variances
Demonstrates capability of managing multiple projects independently
Develop Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews / Health Indicators for consumption of Senior Leadership.
Coach Teams on how PMO will help them standardize their processes, reports and reviews
Stakeholder Management - You will manage conflicting opinions and priorities, drive effective teamwork, communication and collaboration across multiple business units.

Who should apply for this role?

Overall 12+ years of program management experience in the software industry, with 5+ years of experience in enterprise PMO (preferably in a product based organization)Program / Project Management Certification from a reputed Institution and must be competent in Agile delivery. Prior experience in driving metrics driven program management practices across the organization
Hands-on, detail oriented and prior experience working with project management tools (such MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Office) to manage schedule, cost and risks and provide various data analysis & reports to management.
Excellent communication skills (strong written & oral), prior experience in preparing reports/executive summaries and presenting to senior executives
Ability to work on strategic programs and collaborate with various stakeholders
Experience in organization change management
Exercise good business judgment to find short-term solutions working cross-functionally for difficult/tricky program mgmt problems while not sacrificing the long term goals.
Strong drive to bring change, identifies opportunities and highly perseverant until they are realized Challenges status-quo and always pushes for new, innovative and simple solutions
Obsessive ownership towards individual and team goals and does it right
