TLDR

Lead an established small business in a high-accountability program with structured transition, coaching, equity potential, and a collaborative peer network.

Accountabilities:

You will take full responsibility for the performance, leadership, and long-term success of an established small business, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth. This includes overseeing all core functions, leading teams, and driving financial and strategic outcomes with full ownership of results.

  • Lead end-to-end business operations as CEO, including full ownership of P&L performance
  • Manage, develop, and hold teams accountable to execution and operational standards
  • Oversee customer relationships, service quality, vendor management, and operational continuity
  • Develop and execute annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term growth strategies
  • Analyze operational and financial data to inform decisions on pricing, staffing, and capital allocation
  • Ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations across all business functions
  • Drive improvements in revenue, profitability, cash flow, and organizational performance
  • Build trust and alignment with employees, customers, and stakeholders during leadership transitions
  • Partner with program leadership and advisors to execute strategic priorities and growth initiatives
  • Maintain and strengthen company culture, reputation, and long-term business legacy
  • Requirements:

    You bring extensive operational leadership experience, ideally within small to mid-sized businesses, with a proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and own full business outcomes. You are entrepreneurial, disciplined, and comfortable taking full accountability for results in complex operational environments.

    • 10+ years of operational leadership experience in relevant industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or trade services
    • 5+ years of experience with hiring/firing authority and team leadership responsibility
    • 5+ years of ownership or accountability for P&L, budgets, or full business financial performance
    • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and complex operations in a small business environment
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employees, customers, and stakeholders
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a long-term focus on business building and value creation
    • Strong analytical and decision-making ability using operational and financial data
    • Willingness to relocate within designated U.S. regions as required for business placement
    • High level of leadership maturity, accountability, and sound judgment under pressure
