About the job

This position is needed to lead our self-service acquisition digital campaigns supporting our company’s large growth goals. The team is seeking a proven marketing technologist and strategist who possesses a start-up mentality, can quickly uncover new opportunities to optimize, takes ownership of key tools, and organizes cross-functional teams toward one mission. You will oversee multichannel campaigns driving demand, product usage, and revenue. Channels may include Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Capterra, Quora, Reddit, StackOverflow, Sourceforge, and more.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build, manage, and optimize global campaigns and ad units for developer-first initiatives.
  • Identify growth and efficiency opportunities across budgets at global scale. Manage pacing and budget reallocation to drive positive ROI goals.
  • Leverage prioritization and organizational skills to multitask across teams, projects and priorities.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover new growth and optimization opportunities, targeting strategies, channels, and more.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience working with self-service and sales-assisted funnels, primarily focused on API products.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands on PPC channels, search engine marketing (Google and Bing Ads), Paid Social along with Display and Video advertising
  • 4+ years of experience in hands on campaign management of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) as well as multi-channel campaigns that span both paid and organic channels
  • Strong analytical skills, prefer proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Salesforce, and Excel

Desired:

  • Previous experience working within a B2B Tech company (or client) focused on developer acquisition
  • Hands-on experience developing landing pages using Instapage, Unbounce, etc
  • Experience directing a global advertising agency

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA.  

Approximately less than 10% travel is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $132,320 - $165,400.

  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $140,080 - $175,100.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $155,600 - $194,500.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
