TLDR

We are currently inviting Process Engineers to join our growing manufacturing team in our newly established facility in Vĩnh Lộc 2 Industrial Zone Park, Mỹ Yên, Tây Ninh (Formerly Bến Lức, Long An)Shuttle bus is provided from HCM to the factory.

Job Summary

The Process & Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing SMT manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure high product quality, equipment reliability, and production efficiency. The role supports production, NPI, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily SMT production: troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize SMT processes (Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI, X-Ray).
  • Optimize machine parameters and fine tune process recipes.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, and equipment qualification.
  • Support installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and acceptance of new equipment.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and line qualification.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documents including SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow, Control Plans, PFMEA, and PM procedures.
  • Analyze process and equipment performance; implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield, OEE, and process capability.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to improve OEE, yield, and equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, IPC standards, and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
    • 3–5 years of experience in SMT process or equipment engineering.
    • Hands-on experience with SMT equipment and troubleshooting.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  2. Preferred Skills
    • Experience with ASM, Panasonic, Yamaha, Fuji, Heller, ERSA, Omron, Nordson, or similar SMT equipment.
    • Knowledge of IPC-A-610, SPC, PFMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
    • Experience with MES/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

    • Process Capability (Cp/Cpk)
    • Equipment Uptime / OEE
    • Equipment Downtime (MTBF / MTTR)
    • Preventive Maintenance Completion Rate
    • Equipment Availability
    • NPI On-Time Readiness
    • Defect Reduction (PPM)
    • Continuous Improvement Projects: cost Savings, cycle time, productivity  
    • Safety, ESD, 5S and PM Compliance
