Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst at Marqeta, you will perform data analysis, create reports, and present critical findings to management and Executive leadership. You’ll be the owner of all things data analytics for your Product team and have the opportunity to transition into a Product Manager role if you perform well in this highly-visible role.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the solo data analyst for your Product team, conducting data analysis and research to identify trends and insights in large data sets
- Develop and maintain complex analytical models and tools to support Product related decision making
- Help technical and non-technical stakeholders understand Marqeta’s products via data in reports, dashboards, data feeds, data workflows, and data APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for optimization
- Actively seek out ways to grow our business through data analysis and innovative thinking
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience working as a data analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with large data sets using SQL, data analysis, and modeling tools
- Experience building customer facing data solutions (such as through Tableau or Looker)
- Ability to perform work independently, and take initiative on projects
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines, while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Nice-To-Haves
- Prior work with or knowledge of FinTech or the payments industry is great to have
- Experience creating efficient tables in Snowflake
- Experience with git, GitHub, and the pull request workflow
- Experience with writing and debugging Python code
- Experience with accounting, finance, reconciliation systems, or other FinTech products
