Product Designer, Creator (Senior/Staff-Level)
TLDR
Shape core video creation/editing experiences and set design direction for an AI-first platform used by global enterprises.
- Own and drive major design initiatives across the core video creation and editing experience, from early problem framing through to shipped product outcomes and iteration cycles.
- Define and evolve the design vision for key parts of the editor, ensuring consistency across adjacent product surfaces and workflows.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define success metrics, product principles, and quality standards for creation experiences.
- Design intuitive yet powerful interaction models for canvas, timeline, and editor workflows that support both novice and advanced users.
- Develop scalable design systems and interaction patterns that improve usability, consistency, and user mental models across the platform.
- Enhance collaboration features within the editor, including review workflows, content iteration, and reusable design patterns.
- Prototype and validate new interaction concepts rapidly, iterating based on user feedback and product insights.
- Continuously raise the bar for UI quality, interaction design, and system-level thinking across the product experience.
- Extensive experience as a product designer working on complex, high-usage digital products such as editors, creation tools, or collaborative platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in interaction design, UI craft, and shipped work with measurable product impact.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and translate them into clear design direction and actionable solutions.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand product architecture, constraints, and their impact on user experience.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting and defending design decisions in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to leverage user feedback and behavioral insights to continuously improve product experiences.
- Comfortable working in highly experimental environments where AI and emerging technologies reshape product paradigms.
- Track record of contributing to or shaping early-stage product development in SaaS or platform-based products.
- Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to drive initiatives independently from concept to execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is a plus but not required.
