Product Management Intern
The product team set the vision and strategy for Gusto’s product and guides product development from initial concept to launch. We collaborate with world-class engineers and designers to create delightful experiences for our customers while maximizing impact for our business. As advocates for both our users and our business, we work cross-functionally with technical, creative, sales, and marketing on opportunities to accelerate growth.
As a Product Management Intern, you will be responsible for developing a strategy and design for a new feature for our customers. You’ll be identifying user problems, coming up with feature goals, define high level design, and work with an engineer and a user experience designer to deliver the feature.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Develop understanding of Gusto’s users and competitive landscape
- Articulate user scenarios and use cases
- Create wireframes that capture a feature’s high levels design
- Define user scenarios
Here’s what we're looking for:
- Completing a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in engineering, computer science or related field (pursuing with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship)
- Demonstrated experience with managing complex project schedules, solving complex problems and nurturing cross-group collaboration through previous internships, clubs or activities
- Strong technical prowess, including understanding of algorithms, systems architecture and end-user experience.
- Ability to think “outside the box” to derive creative and innovative solutions
Internship Logistics:
- This will be a full time 10 week minimum internship
