Product Owner
Digital River, Inc. seeks a FT Product Owner. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in business analysis. Must also have five (5) years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) assessing value; developing cases using collaboration tools, including at least one of the following: Aha!, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle tools, or Sharepoint; and prioritizing stories, epics, and themes to ensure work provides the highest value; (2) tracking progress towards the release of a product using tracking software, including at least one of the following: SmartSheets, MS Project, or Jira, to ensure an on-time and successful release of the product; (3) leading product work through Agile ceremonies of backlog grooming, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories in Jira to set expectations for delivery of new functionalities; and (4) managing product quality by prioritizing defects and bug resolution by severity and impact through defect management software, including at least one of the following: Service Now, HP Quality Center, or Jira. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Requires less than 5% domestic and/or international travel. May telecommute from any location in the United States.
