Production Operator - Night Shift
TLDR
Operate a semi-automated filling line to package paints and related products; hands-on role with full training in a fast-paced environment.
We are currently looking for a Production Operator / Filling Line Operator to join us at our facility in Milton, ON. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate a semi-automated filling line used to package paints, solvents, primers, and body filler products. This position involves machine operation, material handling, cleaning processes, and adherence to strict safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. Full training is provided for candidates who are eager to learn and develop their manufacturing skills.
Schedule
- Sunday: 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
- Monday – Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a semi-automated filling machine to fill and package paints, solvents, primers, and body filler products.
- Learn and perform filling line setup and teardown procedures.
- Clean tanks, pumps, and production equipment using approved solvents and cleaning processes.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including a respirator.
- Maintain work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
- Safely lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Complete production-related tasks while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support operational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Ability to successfully complete a basic English and math assessment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and turning.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and a respirator (must be clean-shaven).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical.
Preferred Skills
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or filling line experience.
- Experience working in a chemical, coatings, paint, or industrial environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance forklift experience.
- Strong attendance record and commitment to workplace safety.

Compensation
We consider an individual's qualifications, skillset, and experience to determine final salary. This role is eligible for benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The expected compensation for this position is $22.00 CAD per hour. The actual offer will be at the company's sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate's qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
