We are now looking for full-time and part-time permanent Production Specialists to join our operations site in Helsinki (Kalasatama) 🚀🚀 This position is full-time (37,5h/wk) or part-time (22,5h/wk) and the shifts are from Monday-Friday (6-14 or 14-22). We are looking for our new employees to start during February and March.
As a production specialist, you are the person who takes care of all our phones from the moment they get into our hands until we get them ready for our customers. This is a unique chance to implement our mission of making refurbished electronics mainstream. You are responsible for the refurbishment process of our devices and you will work at our operations site consisting of three main departments: inbound, repair and outbound. Swappie operations are represented by amazing teams of people from diverse backgrounds and our priority is to make sure that each and every employee feels happy at their workplace.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 👇
- Receive, prepare and make a software and hardware check of all the incoming phones (Inbound)
- Fix and repair all kinds of faults in iPhones such as screen changes, battery replacements, etc. (Repair)
- Stock maintenance, order fulfillment, iPhone cleaning, packaging, and preparing the orders for our customers. (Outbound)
WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE 👋
- Good team working skills
- Motivation to learn new things
- The ability to learn fast and adapt to a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Interest in sustainability, technology, and fast-growth
- Fluent English skills (Finnish is not needed, as we mainly communicate in English)
- Experience in electronic maintenance/repair or similar tasks is considered a plus but not necessary

Details:
- Work extent: permanent
- Hours: full-time contracts (37,5h/week) or part-time (22,5h/week)
- Start date: mid-February or March
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Morning shift (6 am-2 pm) or Evening shift (2 pm-10 pm), always on the same shift.
- Salary: 10,50€/hour (+evening bonus)
- Visa requirements: You must be able to show proof of a valid working visa in Finland
