Working in our Digital Platform Group (DPG), you will constantly thrive on a variety of new skills and challenges, from taking on larger or more complex portfolios of programs to manage; to iterating on and providing leadership for our operational tools, processes, and frameworks; and even to pivoting into product management and other functional roles.

How can you make an Impact?
As Program Manager for the OL1 team, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and tracking of programs and products with a focus on delivering product features tools to internal and external customers.  You will partner with technical product management, architecture, engineering, and McGraw Hill business units to provide leadership in delivering innovative digital solutions to our customers, support prioritized processes, and workflow creation with a focus on continuous operational improvement.

What can you expect from the position?
-  Make an impact both at McGraw Hill and in the classroom by managing programs that have direct influence on customer experience, product usage and adoption.
-  Facilitates delivery of a program by ensuring the team drives commitments to completion on time and quality. 
-  Implement agile methodologies throughout the development process, ensuring appropriate ceremonies occur with valuable outcomes, and drive continuous team improvement.
-  Ensures projects follow the DPG SDLC including a prioritized backlog, documented delivery plan, iteration and dependency identification. 
-  Own and manage communication plan across program, ensuring transparency and buy in on key decisions, proactively removes impediments to ensure successful delivery of team commitments, and drives issue resolution and risk mitigation.
-  Ensures customer support is appropriately prioritized and SLAs are honored.

What can you bring to the role? 
- Considerable knowledge of software development and adoption, preferably in Ed Tech but not mandatory.
- Experience as a scrum master. Agile program and project management experience preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is a plus.
- Cross-disciplinary understanding of product management, software development, and quality assurance.
- Growth mindset, solution provider, adaptable and open to change, interested in improving over time, curiosity to grow and learn with an experience in delivering solutions that are focused on customer interests and benefits.
