Project Management Consultant
TLDR
Lead software implementation and advisory projects in complex construction/real estate settings, driving on-time, on-budget delivery and proactive risk management for client satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting end-to-end project delivery across software implementation and advisory engagements.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee software implementation projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks while proactively proposing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Analyze project performance data to improve delivery efficiency and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment across all phases of project execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by refining processes, tools, and project delivery standards.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical project management, software implementation, or consulting roles.
- Strong ability to manage projects in complex, ambiguous, and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively propose solutions rather than issues.
- Experience working with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or Notion.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ability to work across different team styles.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Consulting, construction, real estate, or enterprise technology experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Procore, e-Builder, Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft 365 is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
