Project Manager - 12 month Contract
TLDR
Lead end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of technology projects across client-facing and internal initiatives within a mature and supportive PMO environment.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery by defining scope, planning tasks and resources, managing schedules and budgets, and applying the right delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid). You’ll also quickly ramp up on solution design and support delivery across projects or programs as needed.
- Monitor and control project performance by tracking progress against scope, schedule, and budget, proactively identifying risks and issues, driving mitigation plans, and managing change control while clearly communicating impacts to stakeholders.
- Own project communications as the primary point of contact for status updates, meetings, reporting, and presentations. You’ll ensure clear, effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Drive requirements and delivery alignment by facilitating stakeholder discussions, defining clear business requirements, aligning teams on project vision and goals, and establishing agreed-upon acceptance criteria.
- Lead and support project teams through resource coordination, planning and estimation, day-to-day direction, and coaching to ensure efficient execution. You’ll also drive strong project closure, including lessons learned.
- Ensure strong governance and quality by following KUBRA PMO standards, maintaining accountability for project outcomes, and using tools, including AI, to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward with confidence
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences
- High level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to build trust, navigate challenging conversations, and manage expectations effectively
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify risks to delivery or client outcomes and implement appropriate solutions
- Ability to stay organized and structured while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Confident decision-making and the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments
- Experience applying Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies based on project needs
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Planview, with the ability to maintain accurate tracking and reporting
- Comfortable working within software development environments, with the ability to understand technical concepts, architecture, and delivery constraints
- Experience leveraging tools and automation, including GenAI, to improve reporting, efficiency, and project administration
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and successful outcomes
