Project Manager – SAP CPQ
TLDR
Delivery leadership for SAP CPQ implementations in large enterprise programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and governance across globally distributed environments.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP CPQ and enterprise IT project delivery from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, internal IT teams, business users, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and ensure adherence to delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes while ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
- Facilitate governance forums, status meetings, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Track project performance using KPIs and ensure milestone delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Manage change requests, documentation, and project controls throughout the lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, governance, and execution standards.
- 10–18 years of experience in IT project management with a strong track record of delivering large-scale enterprise programs.
- Proven expertise in SAP CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes and SAP ecosystem integrations.
- Experience managing Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models in complex environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
- Strong risk management, issue resolution, and escalation handling capabilities.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
- Proficiency in project planning tools, governance frameworks, and delivery tracking methodologies.
- Ability to present complex project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
