LOCATION: Remote or North Carolina

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to Regulatory Testing Department the Project Manager will support chemistry and toxicology JUUL Labs testing initiatives. The successful candidate will provide organizational, administrative, and communication support in the following areas:

• Oversee project planning processes including scheduling, risk management, communication plans, and reporting projections.
• Monitor ongoing projects to meet target timelines, while mitigating risks.
• Active meeting management by capturing minutes, tracking actions, and keeping historical records.
• Organize completion of project team deliverables and contribute to content development (regulatory submissions, publications, etc.), as appropriate.
• Cross-functional liaison between internal departments (product integrity, quality, legal, R&D) and external contract research organizations with emphasis on project initiation and completion status.
• Collaborate across a range of stakeholders to define study strategy, goals, and milestones.
• Demonstrate expertise in non-clinical research study project management.
• Assist with internal systems management; quality systems, financial contracts, document control .
• Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects.
• Communicate regularly with peers and leadership in Chemistry and Regulatory Testing & Toxicology and Product Integrity.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-6 years relevant experience as a Project Manager with regulated industry experience
• Familiarity with Veeva Cloud platforms and Jira Service Desk is preferred.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Lucidchart, and/or GSuite is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to align the team and drive successful outcomes.
• Natural problem solver, with the ability to mitigate risks and anticipate potential issues.
• Adept at project management methodologies and best practices, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication skills
• Experience with regulated quality systems
• Experience in vaping/tobacco industry is a plus

EDUCATION:

• BS, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or related field
