QA Engineer Card

Improve test coverage for customer-facing Cards products across backend and frontend with automated API tests.
About the role
You'll help ensure the quality and reliability of our Cards products by improving test coverage across backend and frontend systems.
What you'll work on
Customer-facing card products with direct impact on user experience and operational quality
API testing and automation for critical backend services
Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and QA teams throughout the delivery cycle
What you'll be responsible for
Perform manual testing of backend and frontend components within the Cards domain
Design, develop, and maintain automated API tests
Analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure appropriate test coverage
Investigate, document, and track defects through resolution
Maintain and improve test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test plans
Support regression testing, release activities, and continuous improvement of QA practices
What we need
3+ years of experience in software testing
Understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and testing types
Experience with API testing using Postman, REST clients, or similar tools
Basic knowledge of test automation using Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or similar technologies
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively across teams
Good to have
Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated financial products
