RAVE II, Demo Ops

TLDR

QA role at Mapbox focusing on testing real customer APKs, maintaining test documentation, and automating UI tests.

What You'll Do

  •  Participation in the functional testing of the real customers APKs;

  • Developing and maintenance the test documentation like test cases, test plans and traceability matrix;

  • Developing and maintenance the automated UI tests;

  • Identify issues and report them to the relevant RAVE teams, as well as to the engineering teams.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

  • Previous manual and automated QA experience. Completed courses or real work experience/pet projects (possibility to show and talk about them, preferably a repo);

  • Knowledge of any programming language (prefer Java/Python);

  • Experience with GitHub: creating PR, working with branches;

  • Basic knowledge of Jira;

  • Ability to efficiently perform repetitive tasks with a high level of personal productivity, quickly learn new processes, and adapt to different workflows and projects;

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns in large volumes of information, along with solid teamwork and communication skills;

  • Proficiency in English, ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal communication, read and write documentation (B1+ and above). Please, indicate the level of English proficiency in your CV.

  • Previously works in IT company;

  • Experience working with navigation apps;

  • Experience with AI tools;

  • Driver License;

  • Case studies with real-life experience in creating test plan documentation.
