Project

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team. You will own the end-to-end reconciliation process across payment flows, ensuring accuracy of balances, timely settlement tracking, and proper management of rolling reserves.


📌 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reconciliation of transactions between internal systems, payment processors, and bank statements — identify and resolve breaks on the same day
  • Perform monthly balance reconciliations across multiple payment processors, banks, and internal accounts
  • Reconcile daily and monthly transaction data between internal systems and external statements
  • Monitor and track settlements — identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and escalate unresolved items
  • Manage rolling reserve schedules: track release timelines, validate amounts, and ensure proper accounting
  • Prepare reconciliation reports and aging summaries for finance and operations teams
  • Collaborate with payment operations, accounting, and tech teams to resolve breaks
  • Maintain reconciliation procedures and controls documentation


📌 Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a reconciliation, payments operations, or accounting role
  • Solid understanding of payment settlement flows (acquirers, PSPs, card schemes)
  • Experience with rolling reserves and chargeback accounting
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL is a plus
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reconciliation streams simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate discrepancies clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce is preferred


📌  Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., AutoRek, Trintech, or similar)
  • Experience working with multi-currency settlements
  • Understanding of GAAP/IFRS in the context of payment liabilities and reserves
