Recruiting Operations Manager

Gusto is looking for an exceptional Head of Recruiting Operations who will bring a combination of experience, knowledge and creativity to support our continuous growth. You will: lead, inspire, coach and develop a team of talented recruiting coordinators; manage employer branding; and design recruiting analytics.

This leader will ensure that the best practices are in place to provide an innovative, first class candidate experience and quality support to our Recruiting Teams in San Francisco and Denver. The Head of Recruiting Operations has an incredible opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of how recruiting is done at Gusto, using data and analytics to optimize how we attract, source, recruit, interview, onboard and more. The Recruiting Coordinator Manager will collaborate with recruiting leads and recruiting coordinator leads on project initiatives as they relate to creating a delightful, best-in-class experience for every candidate.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Ensure all candidates have a world-class interview experience from start to finish.
  • Empower recruiting coordination, employer branding, and recruiting analytics team.
  • Built operational process efficiencies within the coordination function, resulting in a consistent candidate experience.
  • Evolve our employment branding strategy so potential candidates have an authentic view of our culture, opportunities and teams.
  • Design and build reporting dashboards so that our People empowerers, recruiters, finance partners, and leaders within the company can get the information they need quickly and in a digestible and actionable format.

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience and 3+ years of recruiting management experience
  • Experience with goal setting, career development, and performance management
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and experience partnering with senior leadership and executive teams on recruiting strategy and hiring initiatives.
  • Self-directed, detailed oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes
  • Organized, efficient and able to prioritize effectively. You enjoy making to-do lists and calendaring.
