Recruiting Operations Manager
Stripe’s People Operations Team is a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that drives key initiatives on the People agenda. We work with many different teams at Stripe, while also serving as internal consultants to various stakeholders and leaders. We are nimble and flexible individuals that can wear many different hats. This role will lead a team dedicated to innovative thinking and driving operational initiatives that will ultimately improve the People team and employee experience. This position will drive many key initiatives for our people programs and create the business rhythms, infrastructure, and partnerships across HR to get us there. You will help create and implement scalable, repeatable processes across the globe that allow for consistency and leverage amongst the teams, as well as focus on automating existing programs and processes to create a systems solution.
You will:
- Partner with leaders across HR Operations, Experience, Recruiting, Total Rewards, People Analytics and Internal Systems to identify key problem areas or opportunities for improvement across people, process, technology and policy areas, aligned to the overall Recruiting team strategy.
- Stand up our Recruiting Operations Strategy with an eye for scale and own additional aspects of People operations
- Lead a team of highly collaborative project operations team members to drive those key initiatives forward, primarily within Recruiting operations, but with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to execute on any initiative.
- Drive projects from discovery to implementation, including developing project plans and timelines, and coordinating internal and external resources to meet project requirements (as defined by the project scope).
- Be accountable for all project results of staying on-budget, on-schedule, and meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Manage portfolio of ongoing project work to identify cross-functional dependencies, help make resourcing decisions and trade-offs, and build awareness of work across impacted stakeholders.
- Provide dedicated support to People leaders in each region or function to prioritize their people initiatives, give input into the design of central people projects, and help execute considering operational nuances of their region.
- Leverage data driven insights to identify operational weaknesses and help to improve or innovate global Recruiting and Education programs and processes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible.
We are looking for someone who has :
- 8+ years working in operations, management consulting or equivalent strategy experience (high-growth or tech environments are a plus)
- Exceptional people management skills with 3-5 years of experience leading a team
- Experience working with and optimizing HR platforms
- Strong organizational and operational skills
- The ability to manage and draw insights from data
- A demonstrated ability to navigate in complexity and build new processes
