Location: Remote - candidates MUST reside in and be licensed in New Mexico (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Broker to join our dynamic team. As the Regional Broker, you will play a vital role in supervising and supporting our licensed sales agents, ensuring compliance with state regulations, association rules, and MLS guidelines. Your focus will be on providing exceptional real estate brokerage services to our agents and their clients while implementing effective risk management strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Regional Broker will be working closely with the agents handling contract and compliance duties. This role will also be interacting with the various Real department leads across the country delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.

  • Supervise and support licensed sales agents by reviewing sales contracts, ensuring agent licensing compliance, and providing training on regulatory and best practices, including NAR guidelines.
  • Implement risk management plans for the brokerage and state, ensuring compliance with state licensing laws, association membership, MLS participation, and transaction review processes.
  • Deliver exceptional real estate brokerage services to agents and clients, overseeing operational elements necessary for compliance.
  • Collaborate with department leads nationwide, providing exceptional service and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Promptly respond to agents' requests for assistance and consult with them on problem-solving matters related to complex transaction issues.
  • Define and conduct training programs to enhance agents' knowledge of contracts, risk management, licensing, and state real estate laws.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of brokerage operations manuals, promoting innovation to efficiently support the growing agent base.
  • Utilize remote digital technology for seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure timely completion of contract file reviews and communicate using company-provided technology.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state forms, contracts, real estate laws, regulations, and updates.
  • Coordinate with the state broker to provide regular communication with agents, offering compliance tips, informational videos, and contract advice.
  • Collaborate with brokerage operations leadership on legal proceedings and correspondence.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with agents, promoting professionalism, ethics, and adherence to Realtor association standards.
  • Submit monthly invoices to the accounting office for timely payment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a broker with supervisory capacity (managing 25-50 agents).
  • Strong legal compliance skills.
  • Active real estate broker license in good standing with State Associations and NAR.
  • Continuing education credits in real estate, management, and legal compliance.
  • Additional real estate designations are a plus.
  • Previous branch office or state-level management experience is a plus.
