Regional Director, Sales

This role is responsible for leading regional sales performance, developing talent, and executing commercial strategies that deliver sustained revenue growth and market expansion across a defined territory.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team focused on technical solutions, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Define and execute sales strategies, including pipeline development, forecasting, account expansion, and new business acquisition across targeted markets.
- Manage complex customer relationships, including executive-level engagements, negotiations, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Oversee disciplined CRM usage to ensure accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and opportunity management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, key accounts, and internal stakeholders to align commercial execution and maximize growth opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategy and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with commercial processes, pricing strategies, and organizational standards while driving continuous performance improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific, technical, or business-related field.
- 6+ years of experience in technical sales, with proven leadership responsibility in driving team performance and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of industrial, laboratory, or life sciences markets, including technical products and solution-based selling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and engage confidently with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven sales decision-making.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities in a high-performance sales environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills in fast-changing markets.
