What we’re looking for:
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring global product stewardship compliance by managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labels, and GHS/Dangerous Goods classifications for Indorama Ventures Oxides and Derivatives products. Provides regulatory guidance to business and R&D teams, supports new product development and distribution activities, and ensures accurate, timely responses to customer inquiries while maintaining compliance and minimizing regulatory and business risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author, review, approve, and release complex Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels using the SAP SDS Authoring platform.
- Ensure SDSs and labels remain up to date by identifying and implementing changes in GHS and Dangerous Goods classifications.
- Maintain the accuracy, quality, and availability of product data required for SDS and label creation.
- Partner with R&D and business teams during new product development to ensure regulatory requirements are met through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
- Generate SDSs and labels for new products to support their safe marketing, transportation, and use.
- Review and evaluate product submissions and workflows within internal project management systems.
- Monitor new and emerging regulations, assess business impacts, and communicate required actions and implementation timelines to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all product stewardship processes, regulatory requirements, and communication standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address regulatory challenges and support continued market access for products.
- Provide product stewardship support and regulatory expertise for the North America region.
Key Performance measures for position: - Deliver regulatory assessments and evaluation requests accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Meet all regulatory and governmental submission deadlines.
- Provide proactive, practical, and innovative regulatory solutions to support business needs and manage risks.
- Build strong partnerships with local and global business teams by serving as a trusted regulatory advisor.
- Effectively communicate regulatory risks, opportunities, and business impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous market access through timely identification and resolution of regulatory challenges.
- Maintain high-quality and compliant product stewardship documentation, including SDSs and labels.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Training/certification in GHS Regulations and Dangerous Goods Classification.
- Strong knowledge of product safety regulations such as GHS, REACH, and related requirements.
- Hands-on experience with SAP EHS, including SDS authoring, Dangerous Goods management, and SDS distribution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and presentation delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to interpret and communicate SDS information clearly across different languages and cultures.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working with global teams across different cultures and time zones.
- Willing to undertake occasional domestic and international travel as required.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs for the chemical industry with proven product stewardship experience.
- English (Mandatory)
Required Education:
Mandatory minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Environmental Chemistry, or others
