Release Engineer
TLDR
Coordinate end-to-end build-and-release across vehicle, cloud, and client software, optimizing CI/CD, version control, and readiness to production for autonomous systems.

Secure Delivery Orchestration: Maintaining safe continuous delivery by bridging the gap between integration, quality assurance, and software engineering.

Release Oversight: Managing the release of simulation tools and autonomy software, which involves regression analysis and vehicle-level testing coordination.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Securing formal approvals from stakeholders to confirm that all releases are production-ready.

Define and track readiness indicators to ensure every release adheres to established safety and performance standards.

Scale and refine automation systems to decrease manual effort and optimize deployment workflows.
3-5 years of experience working as a release/ build engineer and managing releases for large, complex products
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Familiarity of source control (Git), branch management, and conflict resolution
Experience with CI/CD, including build and deploying tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, and Bamboo
Programming experience, including Python or other scripting languages.
Ability to learn custom tooling quickly
Experience automating software releases
Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly adapt to changes
Knowledge of cloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience handling large data sets
Bazel experiences a plus.
