About the team - Digital Assets 
The StraitsX team is building the payments infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia. We aim to connect millions of individuals and businesses in the region to the Digital Assets market through our suite of products, including Xfers Wallet and Xfers Direct. In 2020, we released our first stablecoin, XSGD, the largest stablecoin in Asia by supply.

About the role 
As Sales Associate/ Manager for our digital assets business unit, you will be the first point of contact between Xfers and clients. The range of responsibilities includes identifying prospective clients while supporting existing clients with information and providing good services. To be successful in this role, you would need to have a good understanding of the cryptocurrency market/ payments ecosystem, our products as well as take the lead on driving product adoption, client acquisition, and retention. 
This role will report to the Head of StraitsX.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client acquisition, onboard merchant and corporate accounts across our digital assets products - Xfers Wallet, Xfers Direct, XSGD
  • Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders at new and existing clients, collaborate across teams from client organization if required
  • Responding to clients’ questions, expedite the resolution of problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction for client retention 
  • Generate data-driven sales reports and results
  • Support key stakeholders such as Compliance, Product, Product operations, the management to optimize sales operations 

The ideal candidate will have

  • You have a proven track record of 2 - 3 years of experience in a sales/ sales- led role (account management, inside sales, relationship management) within a rapidly growing organization, preferably in the fintech/ payments industry or pitching regulated products/services 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external senior stakeholders 
  • You have an analytical ability to manage complex prices, cost considerations 
  • You are forward-thinking and approach challenges with a solution-orientated approach
  • Some experience with managing projects across various teams 
  • Team player and you are comfortable and determined in dealing with challenging situations (i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.)
  • Solid organization, multi‐tasking, and prioritization skills, including acute attention to detail as well as effective time management 
  • Tech-savvy with good knowledge of using G-suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google docs, sheets, etc.) 

Nice to have

  • You have exposure and a broad understanding of the Digital Assets and FinTech sectors.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus.
