Sales Compensation Analyst
Mission
We are looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to assist in the day-to-day operations of paying sales commissions to our global sales organization. This position works cross-functionally with the Sales, Sales Ops, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and HR teams to coordinate and ensure sales commissions and related incentive bonuses are accurate, complete, and paid on time. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who brings with them 2-3 years of using Xactly Sales Compensation Tool.
Outcomes
- Help create and distribute Sales Compensation plans to all sales employees via Xactly.
- Populate, load and validate all User information in Xactly (people, position, quota, OTI, rate tables, etc.)
- Using Xactly and/or spreadsheets, help calculate and validate monthly commission payments for sales employees based on Sales Compensation plan provisions.
- Review and update monthly commission statements via Xactly, ensuring accuracy.
- Help calculate the monthly commission accrual, including variance analysis to actual payouts.
- Work with Sales Operations to resolve any Sales Compensation-related questions or issues.
- Coordinate with Sales Operations to ensure SFDC sales bookings data is reported accurately and timely each month to meet critical monthly commission accrual and payout deadlines.
- Help identify improvements / enhancements to the Sales Compensation plans, policies, and processes.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of the new Sales Compensation program each fiscal year.
Competencies
- 3 – 4 years’ experience in sales compensation required
- Very strong Xactly and Excel skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is critical
- Bachelor’s degree required
