Sales Enablement Manager

The Sale Enablement manager will take the lead in enabling our Enterprise Sales Representatives (ESRs) who sell to our largest customers in the Global 2000 and F500. With a long complex sales cycle and a platform designed to integrate into their application development, the goal of this role is to find ways to ramp ESRs faster, short sales cycles, and increase win rates by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our ESRs.   




RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align cross functionally with the sales (primarily the Enterprise Sales Representatives and Front-line sales managers - FLSM), sales operations, product marketing, HR, business development, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Align with the broader sales enablement team and provide ESR point of view in discussions and identify the enablement priorities of our Global 2000 enterprise sellers. 
  • Lead the creation and support of sales enablement activities based on company strategy, mission, and current sales priorities driving improvements in ESR efficiency and effectiveness
  • Independently design, maintain and deliver engaging and creative onboarding, enablement programs and sales content with an eye towards measurable impact for the ESR
  • Develop/improve learning ESR paths which drive towards faster initial customer engagements, earlier first opportunities and faster time to first deal
  • Partner with company-wide subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop and deliver programs
  • Participation in the development and execution of sales onboarding bootcamps with focus on the ESRsNew products or product updates
  • Improvement of current processes and sales plays
  • Partner Enablement processes and best practices
  • Partner with regional FLSM to plan and execute enablement strategies that drives measurable, improved sales performance through content, training, programs and coaching
  • Partner with the business development team to develop and execute sales plays with Global System Integrators and other partners relevant to the enterprise team
  • Identify methods for measuring competency ESRs, identify gaps throughout the sales process, and work with the FLSM to drive improvements throughout the sales process
  • Support the development and execution of our annual sales kickoff and other smaller regional sales events
  • Drive adoption of new skills through coaching, follow-up communications, and practices
  • Maintain updated content and courses in our Sales Enablement and Sales content portals Conduct field listening exercises and analyses using interviews, surveys, and focus groupsHandle logistics and other organizational duties to support live or virtual training events

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years in sales enablement for a technology company (software/SaaS preferred) during which successful sales readiness planning and programming where improvements can be confirmed
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or sales related role - sales rep, SE with a business bent, sales program management and/or product marketing
  • Direct sales related experience in an enterprise software/SaaS solution is a desirable, experience with database/cloud/Big Data is a plus
  • Value Selling and MEDDIC based background preferred, but will consider other sales methodologies including Challenger, TAS, SPIN, etc...
  • Experience with a sales training platform is required, MindTickle preferred, but others considered including Commercial Tribe, Brainshark, LevelJump, etc…)
  • Experience with Sales Content Management Systems (Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, etc…)
  • Experience with a sales coaching system is desired
  • Strong collaborative nature and communication skills to work effectively and efficiently with peers, SME’s, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Understanding of the sales rep mindset and the training and retention concepts that are most successful with this profile
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • High adaptability in flexibility, including the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, quick deadlines, and constant change
  • Advanced MS Office skills and/or G-Suite experience, as well as a project management platform such as Airtable, Trillio or other solutionSuperior communication, presentation, and detail orientation skills a must
