We’re looking for a Sales Leader to join our global LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team as a Manager within the Online Sales Organization (OSO) Services team. OSO is a fast paced, high growth team calling on advertisers ranging from medium to large accounts (e.g., high potential Enterprise, Mid-Market and Start-Ups). OSO is transforming the way medium to large businesses connect and build relationships with their customers. We’re uniquely positioned as the leader in B2B advertising and marketing, bringing a suite of solutions to help our customers build their brands, acquire new customers and sustain revenue growth. And it doesn’t stop with B2B as we work with Fortune 1000 B2C advertisers whose brands seek to leverage the “professional consumer” context and relevant solutions we offer.
You will develop and execute on a sales strategy and go-to-market, enabling your sales team to drive success with clients across multiple industries at scale. You and your team are focused on bringing LinkedIn’s full-funnel Marketing Solutions product suite to marketers at scale. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.
* This role will be based in either New York, Chicago or San Francisco, depending on which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on a scaled strategy to grow and retain medium to high potential Marketing Solutions OSO customers
- Work seamlessly between sales channels (e.g., online and Insertion Order) to enable your sales team to drive revenue growth through customer success
- Recommend and influence scalable operations solutions and improvements to support LinkedIn’s continued OSO advertiser growth
- Develop Account Executives while maintaining a high caliber of motivated, consultative talent and high employee satisfaction
- Influence Product and Marketing teams to ensure new product introductions and messaging align with segment needs
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders in Marketing, Sales Operations, and Agency & Channel Team
- Possess strong general management capabilities. e.g. ability to report on key business trends, create business plans and quarterly reviews
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of sales management experience in media and advertising
- 8+ years of digital media and online advertising industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep familiarity with the digital advertising ecosystem, especially the B2B marketplace
- Proven track record of driving digital advertising sales results in a high-growth company environment
- Demonstrated achievement in developing talent and delivering strong revenue results
- Diverse advertiser and category experience required; a successful track record with marketers in the services industry such as business and financial consulting, disruptive technology, etc.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external senior executives across a large organization
- Established reputation as a high integrity, top performer
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to work in a matrix organization and effectively influence colleagues
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to drive business planning
