Sales Manager

We are seeking a Sales Manager who excels at achieving results through all aspects of sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new businesses and selling SocialMadeSimple services. We’re looking for someone who loves every aspect of sales– from hunting for the perfect opportunity to navigating through large organizations and nailing the sales and post-sale process. To be a successful Business Development Manager at SocialMadeSimple, you should have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.
This role is directly measured by the acquisition and retention of new customer accounts. Please note that this is a salary+commission role.
What You’ll Do At SocialMadeSimple
- Sell franchise owners and decision makers on SocialMadeSimple’s services
- Assess particular franchise needs and provide assistance and information on product and service features
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and LinkedIn networking
- Oversee franchise pilots and provide ongoing support to ensure paid conversion
- Assist in the onboarding process of sold franchisees
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships with the corporate teams within franchises
- Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Research franchise networks to find new business opportunities
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients
- Meet monthly, quarterly, annual, and long term goals
We Are Looking For People Who
- 3+ years work experience selling B2B services with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the marketing industry
- Proven ability to navigate complex accounts and reach C-level executives
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Thrives in a high paced environment where time management is a must
- Ability to create and deliver presentations (in-person and remote) tailored to audience needs
- Ability to multi-task and excel with minimal supervision
- Experience with Content Management Systems and MS Office
- Knowledge of franchises is preferred
- BA or BS degree in Business or Marketing related major
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
