Datavant is looking to expand our Sales Operations and Enablement team to help build a scalable go-to-market engine. As the second hire in Sales Operations, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and immediate impact in our sales and marketing processes. This role will partner with both peers and executives throughout our Sales, Marketing, and Product Success teams, and will offer considerable exposure to various aspects of Datavant’s business and systems.

This Sales Operations role will be responsible for managing business activities, processes, training, and sales data (including marketing analytics) to ensure alignment with overall go-to-market strategy. 

Our ideal candidate is an operations generalist who wants to own both tactical and technical projects. Additionally, we’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of go-to-market operations and business health metrics for a SaaS business and is ready to provide strategic direction to maximize efficiencies and reduce friction in our sales processes. This role will become a primary partner for our go-to-market teammates and support & enable them to maximize productivity. You Will:

  • Develop, deploy and manage solutions in Salesforce
  • Report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning of GTM efforts
  • Report and analyze full-funnel metrics to find insights and assist management in making sound decisions
  • Provide white glove user support to go-to-market teammates for all sales systems and processes, including ad hoc report requests from the sales team and other stakeholders
  • Develop strong collaborative partnerships with all cross-functional GTM teams (inclusive of Sales, Finance, Account Management, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering)
  • Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues
  • Set up & train new users for all sales systems, including Salesforce, MixMax , Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, DocSend, DocuSign and more
  • Support data-related requirements as needed, including: data cleaning, monitoring QA dashboards, addressing data issues, conducting salesforce list loads, and lead routing. 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and developing scalable & efficient processes to drive positive change across the sales organization
  • Proactively understand business pain points and propose solutions Drive best practices & coach users to improve adoption of all sales related business applications and processes
  • Regularly take on ad hoc projects within the broader commercial strategy and operations sphere of influence

What You Will Bring to the Table: 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in sales enablement, business intelligence, reporting, or related field
  • Professional experience supporting a growing Salesforce instance and its integrations (marketing automation, sales enablement tooling, etc.) in an administrative capacity
  • A strong team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude who enjoys coaching others and enabling success
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and synthesize them into stories and insights across a go-to-market function
  • Strategic thinker with ability to analyze, develop, and document business requirements and translate those into elegant, streamlined data solutions & process improvements.
  • Strong cross-functional communicator with both peers and executives; ability to build strong working relationships across various teams and stakeholders
  • Multitasker who has strong time and project management skills to meet deadlines on projects that include multiple iterations & thorough testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to keep up with our fast paced work environment. Experience at a growth stage SaaS company preferred.
