Sales Operations Manager

Your Role
In about 1 year, Zip has gone from a sales org of under 15 people to soon >100, all in service of a similarly fast revenue trajectory. This role is for you if you know that scaling out go-to-market and customer facing teams isn’t just about hiring people – it’s about building leakproof processes and making data backed decisions to help our teams become ever better at their jobs.
On our ops team, you’ll join at the ground level with a small group of fun and motivated teammates – the core team that will build the infrastructure that helps us scale to hundreds of millions in ARR in the coming years.
You Will
- Partner with our entire sales leadership and broader leadership team to ensure we always deliver our revenue goals
- Become a de-facto trusted advisor to our a few of our go-to-market teams (i.e. AEs, Customer Success), bringing individual’s best practices to the entire team
- Be the expert on Zip’s fundamental go-to-market KPIs, helping us become a function known for making data-driven informed decisions
- Help us plan and implement our go-to-market strategy, from revenue trajectory, to regional and vertical focus, to headcount allocation
- Build key processes that will be used today by 100+ sales & success teammates, and sooner than you know it, 300+ people
Qualifications
We don’t have strict requirements, so if you believe you qualify and can do the job, we encourage you to apply. However, the qualifications below should give you a flavor of the role, and could be an advantage in our interview process.
- Excellent communicator who can distill the complex into seemingly simple
- Strong analytical skills – including Excel/GSheets wizardry, and SQL fluency (or willingness to learn)
- Strategic – which we define as being able to zoom out on the big picture or focus in on the details at the right moments
- 2+ years working in a strategic sales operations role, where you were working closely with sales teams and sales leadership, and you have experience in the core sales ops job – including analytics/reporting, forecasting, incentive design, territory planning, driving process change, etc.
- Experience working at a B2B SaaS company that has a value-driven, top down go-to-market approach
- Startup experience – knowing that urgency, doing the “dirty work”, and a little bit of chaos are core parts of the startup ethos
- Experience with common sales tools. Our stack is Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other category leading software

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
