The "Sales Strategy & Operations Manager" is a key business advisor, who functions as a “COO” of our sales organization. The manager plays a key role in deriving insights from LinkedIn’s customer and sales data and is responsible for partnering with sales leadership and our executive team to make data-driven decisions. The manager will also be responsible for designing and setting sales policy, sales incentives, and planning new market/territory development.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations leaders and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize opportunities for improvement and who will take the initiative to improve them. 

Using strong communication skills, the manager will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and scope, and have the ability to perform professionally in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment. The manager will also be responsible for building and developing a top-calibre operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all the sales operations for a segment in the EMEA region;
  • Work with fascinating data and be at the front of thought leadership for the company’s monetization strategy
  • Work with sales leadership to optimize sales productivity and uncover new growth opportunities;
  • Deliver strategic and operations projects to evolve and transform the go-to-market model;
  • Liaise with Finance, Marketing, HR to conceive, design and implement process optimization;
  • Manage a team of analytical resources;
  • Conceive of and design reporting through salesforce.com that drives a stream of data to decision-makers;
  • Design, build and optimize sales territories;

 Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years work experience in management consulting, sales, strategy, operations, or finance

Preferred Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree;
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management;
  • Deep interest in building business recommendations and leading changes
