Salesforce Administrator (Remote)
Astronomer is the commercial developer of Apache Airflow, a community-driven open-source tool that’s leading the market in data orchestration. Astronomer is looking for a highly motivated, technically-minded Salesforce guru who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building go-to-market systems for high growth companies. This person will be a key player working directly with our sales leadership team to design our systems to accommodate growth and scale.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on configuration of all new and existing functionality including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflow, flows, process builders, reports and dashboards, and customized applications
- Work on a combination of net new builds and integrations within Salesforce
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor and identify insights
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand needs and identify solutions
- Help the team establish strong operational processes for our Salesforce and integrated systems
- Work with team members to develop specifications and technical designs for complex projects using a combination of out of the box features and custom configuration
- Work in an agile and dynamic environment to facilitate timely responses to changing project requirements
- Provide technical and functional support to users of Salesforce
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of Salesforce administration experience in a high-growth environment
- Strong working knowledge of all declarative administration including: custom fields, custom and standard objects, lightning flow, lightning apps, lightning page layouts, profiles, permission sets, workflow rules, and process builder
- In-depth knowledge of permissions in Salesforce; Roles and Profiles, Org-wide defaults, Sharings Sets, Permission Sets
- A drive to execute, seek lasting impact, and demonstrate urgency with projects big and small
- Scoping & Prioritization: You are highly effective at gathering requirements from key stakeholders, prioritizing based on key pain points, and developing solutions in Salesforce that meet stakeholder needs
- Ability to move fast and juggle multiple projects- all while keeping very close attention to detail
Bonus points if you have:
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (highly preferred)
- Salesforce Platform Appbuilder Certification
- Ability to read and understand Apex code and Visualforce
- Any additional certifications
