Security Escort - Qatar and Jordan

Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Security Escort for a position in Doha, Qatar or As Zahra, Jordan.

Serve as a security escort for uncleared workers within the secured facility and other specified locations. Carry out instructions primarily oriented toward ensuring that security violations are avoided.

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitors work and activities of Other Country Nationals (OCN’s) workers within the facility or a construction site area.
• Report incident to appropriate authority.
• Intervene directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property or personnel.
• Enforce regulations designed to prevent breaches of security.
• Exercise judgment and use discretion.
• Exercise discretion when determining course of actions, whether first response should be to intervene directly (asking for assistance when deemed necessary and time allows), to keep situation under surveillance, or to report situation so that it can be handled by appropriate authority. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting secure areas.

Requirements

• Clearance: Must have and maintain a valid DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience as a security escort, law enforcement, or prior military a plus.
• Must have the ability to be vigilant and have situational awareness of surroundings.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience.
• Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds; bend, stoop, work safely around equipment/materials/supplies/cargo.
• Live and work in austere conditions to include rain, snow, heat and extreme weather conditions.
• Work long hours, exposure to the elements and hazardous conditions.
