Senior Account Director, Linkedin Marketing Solutions (Korean speaking)

As an Account Director, you will drive growth by developing and executing a sales strategy to expand our customer base in South Korea. Leveraging your extensive digital sales experience, you'll provide data-driven marketing strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to high-potential clients. You will build high-level relationships, optimize advertising growth, and generate business plans. This role requires a client-centric, solutions-driven, and proactive self-starter eager to make our clients successful in their LinkedIn Marketing Solutions journey.

Responsibilities:   

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and CXOs in customer businesses and media agencies via phone, emails, events, and social selling to secure media budgets. 
  • Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals. 
  • Understand clients' business challenges, competitive environments, and success metrics to create effective campaign strategies. 
  • Craft sales narratives covering digital marketing, content marketing, branding, and lead generation to help clients achieve their objectives. 
  • Execute sales plans, provide forecasts, manage pipelines, balance leads, maintain CRM hygiene, ensure customer engagement, and demonstrate systems proficiency. 
  • Evangelize LinkedIn through attendance and speaking engagements at customer events. 
  • Lead as a disciplined business manager, mapping out success for a portfolio of clients. 
  • Deliver a consultative sales approach for each client to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Lead with insights through client research, industry-specific information, and trends. 
  • Travel required (approximately 20-30% of the time) 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising across either sales, marketing, consulting, or media    
  • Business communication fluency in both verbal and written Korean and English 
  • 5+ years digital media sales experience growing customers in South Korea  
  • Experience with with CMO / Media Director interaction and engagement when closing deals 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Demonstrated success in excelling within a target-driven environment, adept at managing CRM for the sales process 
  • Ability to drive results and build relationships across multiple client levels. 
  • Strong understanding and network within the South Korea media agency landscape. 
  • Experience managing and prioritizing large portfolios of customer advertising budgets and campaigns. 
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals through consultative selling. 
  • Skilled data-driven storyteller, leveraging insights to drive client action and investment.
