Senior Account Executive

The Senior Account Executive is a revenue-producing role with unlimited upside earning potential for the right, experienced candidate. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record selling Cloud infrastructure at a Hyperscale, Datacenter, Managed Cloud or Service Provider. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. The Senior Account Executive will spend most of their day interacting with several prospects and customer stakeholders; including Partners, Developers, Engineers, Directors, Finance, and CxOs.

Responsibilities
- Leverage your past prospect and client network to bring over short-term credentialized revenue to Vultr
- Pursues the highest propensity prospects, fills the funnel with opportunities; pitching prospects primarily at the Director through C-level
- Using Social Selling techniques to expand your network and open up new business opportunities
- Utilizes available Sales tech stack to prospect and use account strategy plans
- Providing rapid response to inbound inquiries from all sources
- Conducts quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunities
- Actively monitors and maintains the status of opportunities in ActiveCampaign, following the principles of forecasting
- Consistently achieve or exceed qualified quarterly quotas
- Leads commercial offer and contract negotiations, using internal resources as needed to obtain best commercial terms possible
- Understands commercial levers and problem solves to make initial recommendations on deal structure
- Sells full suite of Vultr offerings to include the global footprint
- Leads and drives coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team (Solutions Architect, Customer Support, Revenue Operations, etc.)
- Researches and documents detailed understanding of customer business and organizational landscape
- Identifies customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements to match to Vultr solutions in partnership with SAs
- You are responsible for leading delivery of the pitch, using SAs where appropriate; you adapt pitch to customer needs and persona
- Facilitates customer contract renewals and negotiations to protect revenue
- Mentors Junior Account Executives on special projects provides guidance to them on new products/processes/best practices
- Providing feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of the Demand Generation activities
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear and concise terms
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Hyperscale, Datacenter or Managed Cloud or Service Provider.
- Experience designing/operating solutions built in the Cloud
- Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
