Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team eager to make a quick impact on the team. The successful candidate will work directly with business partners across the organization for month end close and corporate reporting. We're looking for organized thinkers who can juggle multiple projects and think of new ways we can improve our current processes. This is a great opportunity to join a small team helping to scale a high growth SaaS business.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to recording, reconciling and analyzing G/L account transactions
  • Assist the Accounting team in the preparation of month end close journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis (for example: accrued expenses, intercompany, HQ allocations, etc.)
  • Assist with the statutory audits including preparation of supporting audit schedules and PBCs
  • Assist with and/or complete ad hoc projects as requested (e.g. research and document issues, special projects, etc.).
  • Mentor and partner closely with our AP team
  • As necessary, contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned and perform independent and objective project analysis to support management with the decision-making process
  • Build and leverage cross-functional relationships within the company to more effectively bring value to Accounting and other internal teams.

Miniumum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in audit or accounting or finance, public accounting experience preferred
  • Understanding and experience working with financial statement audits
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to and meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Word and Excel capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP, Coupa, and Expensify experience is a plus
  • CPA candidate is a plus

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $49,000 to maximum $104,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.
