About the Role:
Supporting Checkout.com’s rapid growth and working with cross-functional teams in both our HQ and our regional offices, you'll drive an exciting agenda of HR projects.
Reporting into the Sr. Manager, People Strategy and Planning, this is a varied role with significant opportunity to have a huge impact and work within an innovative and newly established team, where you'll be granted trust, autonomy and freedom to deliver results!
You'll act as a key part of the PMO and Change center of excellence for the People team and supporting change and communications across transformational HR projects (such as performance management, geographical expansion, job evaluation, decision making framework, Workday implementation).
This is a fast-paced role with the opportunity to make a real impact and to work with an inspiring, commercially-focused People team!
What you'll be doing
- Act as the central change and learning specialist for key strategic People projects building and owning change and communications plans
- Oversee change, communications and learning impacts across priority programs
- Partner closely with the change and communications specialist to deliver effective change
- Develop and deliver the waterfall and agile Change Management and Communication approaches
- Conduct Stakeholder Assessments, identifying key stakeholders and areas of focus, and develop Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans to address and mitigate risks
- Conduct Change Impact Assessments, identifying risks to delivery/adoption, and articulate practical and useful mitigation activities
- Understand the short/mid/long term roadmaps, and proactively identify and clearly articulate upcoming change and marketing priorities to support the roadmap
- Develop and deliver both tactical Communication Plans
- Review, write and send both tactical and strategic communications
- Develop and continuously update coaching/training methodologies and guides, working closely with global comms and learning and development
- Identify, baseline and track Change Management KPIs and metrics
- Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance and knowledge transfer to people team
- Develop Change and Communication knowledge library with good practice deliverables, tools and templates
- Participate in People Lunch and Learns and People team COE knowledge sharing sessions to identify and apply learning opportunities.
About you
- Previous experience of leading change and communications end-to-end within fast-growing global organisations and ensuring continual improvement
- Pragmatic and able to navigate complexity in a dynamic and innovative environment
- Bias for action, excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
- Data-focused approach, and can translate large amounts of data into insights and solutions
- Proactive, with the ability to identify issues and resolve them independently; can take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed structure, comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading
- Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications, and influencing a wide variety of audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with Core HRIS
- Experience with G-Suite, Slack and Mailchimp
- Experience with agile and waterfall project and change management methodologies
- Have experience of agile frameworks and Kanban. Initial program focus will mainly be Kanban.
