Senior Data Scientist, Sales
TLDR

- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data models supporting sales and commercial decision-making
- Design and implement machine learning models to improve sales targeting, forecasting, and customer engagement strategies
- Conduct advanced analyses and experimentation (including A/B testing) to evaluate business hypotheses and drive performance improvements
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI frameworks to track commercial and revenue performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Revenue Operations to translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to solve complex business problems and improve decision quality
- Support the development of predictive and decision science systems used to influence core business metrics
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentorship within the data science team
- 5 plus years of experience in data science, decision science, or a related analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in data modeling and analysis
- Experience with data pipeline and transformation tools such as dbt and Airflow is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimentation, and A/B testing frameworks
- Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Strong business acumen with understanding of sales processes, customer behavior, and commercial strategy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members in an individual or team capacity
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, data-driven environment
- Competitive annual compensation ranging from CA$151,200 to CA$189,000 plus equity participation
