Senior Demand Planner
TLDR
Lead end-to-end demand and supply planning for device programs, delivering accurate forecasts and data-driven insights to optimize lifecycle and inventory.
Own and develop end-to-end demand and supply planning processes for device programs, ensuring forecast accuracy, operational alignment, and data integrity through the following responsibilities:
- Build and maintain demand, supply, procurement, and inventory forecasts across multiple client programs
- Partner with actuarial and finance teams to refine claims assumptions and improve forecasting accuracy
- Develop repair and remanufacturing forecasts to support device lifecycle and service operations
- Contribute to financial reforecasting activities, including variance analysis and device mix updates
- Manage planning datasets including inventory, pipeline, lifecycle, and migration matrices
- Produce reporting on inventory levels, open purchase orders, and planning performance metrics
- Identify supply chain impacts and communicate insights to key financial and operational stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of planning tools and systems
- Support system enhancements, integrations, migrations, and process automation initiatives
- Establish documentation standards, controls, audit frameworks, and escalation processes
- Monitor planning workflows and implement efficiency improvements across teams and systems
- Support client-specific forecasting and procurement planning requirements
- Develop training materials and drive adoption of planning tools across stakeholders
- Ensure business continuity, compliance, and operational reliability of planning processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or operations roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, including data modeling and analysis
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning, and inventory management
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, and matrixed environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations
- Experience with planning systems and data-driven decision-making processes
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
- Exposure to supply chain certifications such as CPIM (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
