Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure that supports our development and production environments. This role requires strong experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and system monitoring. Must have strong Kubernetes skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
• Build and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Ensure system security through access controls, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Continuously improve deployment processes and system reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 + years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with database administration and performance tuning.
