Senior Forecasting Manager (All Genders)

€40.800 – €61.200 per year

TLDR

Own end-to-end forecasting, standardize tools and data flows, and deliver actionable insights to S&OP to enable data-driven, timely decisions in a multinational setting.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze forecasting performance and pro-actively initiate corrective actions if needed in close collaboration with key stakeholders – especially Demand & Inventory Managers and the Product Team.
  • Actively run the end-to-end forecasting process and translate business needs into concrete requirements for technical development.
  • Develop, maintain and present regular and ad-hoc reports on forecasting performance KPI and pro-actively uncover root causes for critical deviations.
  • Pro-actively contribute clear, actionable and relevant forecasting insights to our Sales and Operations Planning and Execution process to drive data-driven, timely and risk-aware decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives directed at standardization and simplification of the forecasting process, tools and data flows across departments.
  • Own the end-to-end forecasting process and create a positive, open-minded and collaborative environment – fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration and Supply Chain Management with clear focus on quantitative analytics
  • Proven experience with statistical forecasting models in a fast-paced environment (CPG/FMCG)
  • Ability to read and query data with SQL; Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint user; Experience with MS Power BI and Tableau is a big plus
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and to drive informed decision-making
  • Being precise and pragmatic at the same time – flexibly applying methods required in the respective situation
  • Open-minded team player with an ability to present complex ideas in a simple but meaningful way
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude who contributes with ideas
  • 5+ years of relevant experience gained in a forecasting role (e.g. sales/demand/SKU/inbound/outbound forecasting, data analytics, business intelligence)
