Senior FP&A Analyst, Customer Outcomes

The Senior FP&A Analyst, Customer Outcomes is a critical role that will help tell the story of ServiceNow’s external facing “PS and Other” P&L, which includes Customer Outcomes and Training. The individual will build processes to give business partners insights into the P&L as well as the expenses for all of Customer and Partner. The role will provide sophisticated financial analysis, supporting the annual budgeting process, assessment of potential strategic investments and partnerships, and other ad hoc analyses.

The role reports to the Director of Global Finance and works with a broad cross functional team and be the liaison between business finance and corporate finance. It requires significant interaction across all levels of business and finance management, and as such, requires a person who demonstrates the ability to partner, communicate and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

What you get to do in this role:

·        Ensure all monthly and quarterly related reporting requirements and submissions to FP&A are met in a timely and accurate manner

·        Lead financial planning, forecasting and reporting for the full P&L globally

·        Build processes that help drive consistency across regions. Provide insights and analysis that drives results and decision making

·        Be the financial partner to Customer Outcomes leadership team. Helps to manage their overall budgeting and planning, breaking down financial results into meaningful insights and identifying and monitoring key business model drivers on a go forward basis

·        Prepare appropriate reporting, data, analysis and presentations to support global Customer Outcomes leadership as well as regional leadership and local finance partners

·        Lead annual budget process and support QBRs and long term strategic planning

·        Assist in communications to senior management, including concise presentation of business results, financial drivers and strategic priorities

·        Build presentation materials and analysis that supports recurring and ad-hoc projects

·        Work closely with systems teams to support the evolution of financial planning systems and processes, including the transition from BPC to Anaplan


     

 

To be successful in this role you have:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a SaaS environment

·        Intellectually curious and interested in understanding beyond the “what” as to the “why” when conducting analyses

·        Proficient in working in large data sets and identifying trends / anomalies against expectations

·        An excellent communicator and a great team player

·        Ability to work with minimal guidance on some deliverables

·        Excited about working in a fast paced environment with fluidity

·        Ideally possessing a prior background in FP&A with business partner experience or similar background that understands both financial and operational metrics

·        Excellent organizational and partnering skills, including strong communication and interpersonal abilities

·        Strong BPC, Anaplan, system experience a plus
