Senior Full-Stack Engineer

You'll be on a high-impact team building a vertical SaaS platform that thousands of service businesses rely on every day. This is a hands-on senior role with real influence over product direction, architecture, and the engineering culture as the team scales.

The platform is mid-migration from a mature PHP codebase to a modern Node.js and React stack, with a React Native mobile app already in production. You'll work across both sides of that transition: shipping features in the legacy codebase while helping architect and build the system that replaces it. This is not a greenfield rewrite, it's a thoughtful migration done in flight, and you'll help shape how it gets done.

What you'll do:

•  Design and ship full-stack features across the platform
• Drive meaningful pieces of the PHP to Node.js and React migration, including architecture decisions, patterns, and tooling for the new stack
• Own features end-to-end, from scoping with product to deployment and monitoring
• Partner with product and customer-facing teams to translate real user problems into technical solutions
• Contribute to the best practices in the modern stack: testing strategy, code review standards, CI/CD, developer experience
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction conversations as a peer, not a reviewer

• -5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong full-stack track record
• Production experience with PHP
• Solid experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Working knowledge of React for web
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Track record of owning features end-to-end on a small team, including scoping, building, shipping, and supporting in production
• Result-oriented and proactive, comfortable working with autonomy

Nice to Have:

• Experience leading or contributing to a large-scale codebase migration (PHP to Node/React or similar)
• REST API design and third-party integrations (payments, mapping, routing, scheduling)
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategy, and DevOps practices
