Senior IT Systems Engineer
We’re looking for a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to assist with IT infrastructure management, platform administration, process improvement, and advanced technical support. This individual will be responsible for helping to architect and build the foundations of IT at Thirty Madison. What you get to do everyday:
- 3-5 years of w/ Hands-on experience working with Systems like FreshService, Okta, AWS, Greenhouse, Workday, JAMF, InTune, Azure, Azure AD, Sophos, Google WorkSpace, M&A, Server Administration, HelloSign, Slack, Zoom, Notion.
- Experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies like Cisco Meraki, AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud functions, Okta Workflows, Fresh Service Workflows, 3rd party integration tools (Workato, Zapier, Tray.io)
- Experience Scripting Bash, Python, Powershell, JSON, Javascript, Ruby, TypeScript
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Capable of delivering on multiple exciting priorities with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Nice to have SQL
What you bring to the role:
- 3+ years of providing advanced-level IT support for end users
- 5+ years of application administration and deployment of enterprise IT platforms
- Hands-on experience implementing and integrating a variety of applications such as Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Slack, or similar
- Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows 10
- Scripting experience is required (Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScrip)

How we are managing through the COVID pandemic and its impact on our team?
These are unprecedented times and we understand COVID-19 is impacting everyone differently. Our primary goal from the beginning of the pandemic has been to ensure employee safety. We went from optional to mandatory work-from-home very quickly in early March, and we have told employees that they can work remotely to allow them to plan accordingly.
