We are looking for a Senior Merchandising Manager to lead our Men’s Apparel merchant team. This role will have accountability over multiple Women’s categories and will be responsible for the strategic growth and in-season management of the full division. This role will partner with leadership and cross functional teams to create the strategic vision for the product, build and manage our assortment, plan for growth, and drive the business. There will be two direct reports. Our ideal candidate has strong previous experience in merchandising specifically within Women’s apparel and has demonstrated some levels of category ownership.  They have a strong understanding of and passion for trends and the apparel market. They can deliver business results while managing the assortment with cross functional partners and lead strategic initiatives for the broader team. They are engaged in the training and development of their team.

Your day-to-day:

  • Responsible for the development of the Women’s Apparel divisional product strategy to drive profitable growth in line with brand goals
  • Lead assortment strategy, color assortment, launch strategy, and pricing for Men's
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to recap the business and recommend actions to drive growth for total division
  • Manage a team of two direct reports
  • Build and implement channel strategy for online and retail locations
  • Partner with design, production, planning, and marketing to bring product priorities to life 
  • Manage existing processes, systems, and calendars and create new ones to drive efficiency
  • Partner with Product Development and Supply Chain to chase incremental opportunities for the brand

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 6+  years merchandising experience
  • Knowledge of Women’s apparel marketplace and consumer
  • A growth mindset and a natural entrepreneurial approach to delivering results
  • Knowledge of product development, financials, and production
  • Strong leadership skills and communication skills with cross-functional partners
  • Fluency with merchandising systems, business acumen,  tools, and applications
  • Ability to lead cross functional initiatives
  • Management experience preferred

California resident:  At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $143,000. This range is based on the Los Angeles geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
