Senior Performance Marketing Manager - Paid Search

About the Role

This role will be focused on Paid Search for our DigitalRx brands - MedExpress, ZipHealth and RocketRx. You will own the Paid Search performance goals for these brands and be responsible for researching, planning, prioritising, and executing winning strategies. You have previously managed multi-million £ budgets and have experience scaling e-commerce brands through SEM.

You’re curious and have an experimental mindset - you want to understand what works, and why, using robust testing methodology and thorough data analysis. You have plenty of ideas to test (and know where to find more) and prioritise them effectively based on business impact. You will be maintaining an 'always on' pace of testing on ads, keywords, landing pages, bidding, targeting and other variables.

You have solid experience optimising and scaling campaigns across the entire spectrum of google ads offering - search, shopping, display and youtube.

You will be working hands-on as part of the growing User Acquisition team, and you’ll also get to work cross-functionally with Brand, Product and other teams.

Location is flexible - you can work from our London office 🏢 or from home/remotely within 2h of GMT 🌍.


Responsibilities

  • Own the Paid Search performance goals for MedExpress, ZipHealth and RocketRx
  • Set the strategy and roadmap for scaling Paid Search activity efficiently
  • Manage multi-million £ SEM budgets optimising towards long term profitability (CAC:LTV)
  • Plan, execute and analyse experiments to drive growth
  • Manage and optimise search, shopping, display and youtube ads
  • Understand our customers for better targeting & messaging
  • Lead the cross-functional projects of SEM landing page creation & optimisation
  • Provide performance updates to the acquisition team and wider business
  • Maintain partnerships with paid search ad vendors (e.g. Google & Microsoft)
  • Research competitor marketing activities
  • Keep up to date with google ads updates & betas, industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Strong track record scaling and optimising SEM campaigns across Google & Bing (Microsoft) - with particular focus on search and shopping
  • Excellent numerical & data analysis skills
  • Expert Google Analytics user; past experience with Metabase and/or Amplitude an advantage
  • Experience using additional tools to drive customer insights (e.g. Hotjar)
  • Experience using A/B testing tools for SEM landing page optimisation (e.g. VWO)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Experience managing multiple brands at the same time preferred
