Senior Product Designer (UI Focus)
TLDR

Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end product design efforts, including discovery, user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Apply design thinking to complex domains, reframing problems and translating user needs into intuitive, scalable solutions.
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral data analysis.
- Design and refine data-rich interfaces, dashboards, and workflows with a strong focus on clarity, accessibility, and usability.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across web and mobile experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to align on vision, feasibility, and execution.
- Use storytelling and design artifacts (user flows, prototypes, specs) to communicate design intent and influence prioritization.
- Participate in design critiques, sprint ceremonies, and QA cycles to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design exploration throughout the design process.
- 5–7+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital products.
- Proven experience designing data-heavy, content-rich interfaces such as dashboards or enterprise-grade applications (e.g., fintech, edtech, health tech, SaaS).
- Strong expertise in UI design craft, including visual hierarchy, layout systems, and interaction design.
- Deep knowledge of human-centered design methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, and workshop facilitation.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma and related collaboration or research tools.
- Solid understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility standards for web and mobile platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and translate design intent into clear, implementable specifications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions across stakeholders.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance design workflows, exploration, and decision-making.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership and a passion for inclusive, user-centered design.
